
Adam W. Stephens, 93, of Cetronia, passed away, Thursday April 12, 2012 in the St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus. He was the husband of Irene D. (Warmkessel) Stephens. They celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary, Monday April 9th. Adam was born in Allentown a son of the late William and Cora (Litzenberger) Stephens. He was employed at the Crest Plaza State Store for 25 years before retiring as the manager in 1975. Adam was a Navy Veteran of World War II where he served as a Seabee. He was a member of Cedar United Church of Christ, and B.S.A. Troop # 29 both of Cetronia. Adam founded the Cetronia Ambulance Corps in 1955. He served as the caretaker of the Cedar Church Cemetery for over 50 years. He was a loving husband and father. Survivors: Wife; Son: Bruce A. Stephens of Cetronia. Services: 1:30 P.M.
