Bernice E. Stephen September 3, 1923 - June 6, 2017

Bernice E. Stephen, 93, formerly of Telford, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the wife of the late Martin P. Stephen. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John H.F. and Eva M. (Moser) Baumer. Bernice was a supervisor at Lyons Patch Co., Baltimore, MD for 20 years before retiring in 1988. Previously, Bernice attended Wilson College in Chambersburg for Nursery School Education and started the Nursery School at Pennside Presbyterian Church in Mount Penn. She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown and had been involved with Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of America.

Survivors: Sons: Dennis J. Stephen and his wife Constance of Boyertown, Thomas L. Stephen and his wife S. Laurette of Whitehall, MD; Granddaughters: Erin M. Stephen of St. Ignatius, MT, Jessica L. Lloyd and her husband Brandon of Bear, DE; Great grandson: Stephen Lloyd; Sister: Jeanette Diehl and her husband Donald of Allentown. Bernice was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher M. Stephen.
