Carolyn A. Schantz May 11, 1944 - August 24, 2016

Carolyn A. Schantz, 72, of Breinigsville,  passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  She was born in Allentown a daughter of the late George E. and Mary A. (Richardson) Schantz.  She was a Breast Cancer Survivor and was active with the American Breast Cancer Foundation.  Carolyn Schantz, a name synonymous with survival and strength.  The very embodiment of what it means to be a mother selflessly and unconditionally devoted to her children.  She took on the world with reckless abandon, making it safe and a little brighter for everyone blessed enough to cross her path.

Survivors: Sons: Hayden V. Craddolph of PA, Luis V. Castro, Jr. of CA and Juan A. Castro of NJ; daughter, Carlina A. Castro of PA; five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Robert E. and Edwin L. Schantz.
