Catherine B. Grasley June 2, 1915 - January 3, 2017

Catherine B. Grasley, 101, of Allentown, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2017, in the Phoebe Home where she was a member of its auxiliary.  She was the wife of the late Walbert S. Grasley.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Beulah B. (Berky) Woodring.  A 1933 graduate of Allentown High School, she was employed as a clerk at Hess Brothers Department Store and the 19^th Street Card & Gift Shop.  Catherine was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ and a member of the former Saint Andrew UCC where she was a Sunday school teacher.  Survivors: son, Barry S. and wife, Beverley A., Wilmington NC; son-in-law, Barry J. Fry, Rochester NY; sister-in-law, Janet Woodring, Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.  Daughter, Barbara J. Fry, brothers, Jonathan, George, David and Kenneth, and sisters, Mary Diehl, Ruth Flood, and Doras Piff, preceded her in death.  Services: 10:30 AM Saturday in STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd.  Call 9:30 AM until service time.  Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery.  Immediately after the interment, there will be a time of fellowship at church, 1837 Church Rd.  Contributions: in lieu of flowers, to church 18104.
