Crystal Marie (Pudleiner) Garrett May 24, 1982 - May 15, 2017

Crystal Marie (Pudleiner) Garrett, 34, of Breinigsville, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 in her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Robert B. Garrett.  They celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary last Wednesday. Crystal was a daughter of Gary L. and Diane (Miscavage) Pudleiner of Allentown.  She was a graduate of Parkland High School Class of 2000, where she was a member of the 1998 PIAA State Championship Girls’ Softball Team.  Crystal received her BS in Info Sciences and Technology from Penn State University and her MBA from Drexel University. She was employed as a Principal Consultant for the former IMS Health, now Quintiles IMS from 2006 until January 2016. Crystal attended Nativity Lutheran Church, Allentown with her family.

Crystal was a mother first and foremost.  She was known to her girls and those closest to her as Mama Bear.  She always fought for her children no matter how big or small the challenge.  She used her incredible intuition and tenacity to help them grow.  Crystal was always actively involved in their school communities and activities.  Crystal inspired so many during her journey.

Survivors: Husband; parents; daughters, Emma Lynn, Alexandria Jean, and Brooke Bella Garrett all at home; brother, Jason Pudleiner of Gettysburg; grandmother, Ethel Pudleiner of Allentown; uncle, Joseph Miscavage; cousins, Jake and Nick Miscavage; in-laws, Casey and Dan Garrett of Breinigsville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Tara B.G. and Jason D. Houser of Allentown; niece and nephew, Gwendolyn K. and Benjamin A. Houser; godparents, Ann and Scott Quilling of Allentown.

Services: Crystal’s wish was to further help others and their families with the struggles of fighting cancer.  Her body will be donated to the Humanity Gifts Registry to help support this cause. Friends and family may call from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday in the church. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the Nativity Lutheran Church 4004 West Tilghman St., Allentown. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.

Contributions: A non-profit organization is being created in memory of Crystal to support families who are fighting Breast Cancer and research for a cure.  Contributions may be made to the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown, 18106 to be held for the non-profit.  In lieu of flowers, donations may alternatively be made to Nativity Lutheran Church.
