David L. Berry February 20, 1929 - May 26, 2016

David Lorimer Berry, 87, of Allentown passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown, PA. David was born in 1929 in Reading, PA to Ralph H and Sarah L (Messner) Berry. He graduated from Allentown High School and continued on to receive a Business Degree from Lehigh University in 1950. After college he served in the US Airforce for 3 years during the Korean War. David was married to Eleanor W. (Wallace) Berry. They would have celebrated their 18^th wedding anniversary in June. David was a “jack of all trades”, mainly working in the Sales and Transportation Industries. He enjoyed sailing and travel and loved spending time anywhere there was water. David is survived by his wife, his 3 children, Victoria L (Timothy) Nash, of Longwood, FL; David L Berry II (Perla) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Liz Berry of Lake Mary, FL and his brother Ralph (Ruth) Berry of Bozeman, MT. He is also survived by his 2 step-daughters, Dianne (Donald) Macdonald and Laura (Robert) Fox.  His grandchildren include: Matthew and Michael Craft, Mia and Lea Berry and great-grandson Colin Craft, along with seven step-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his step-son Dale N. Wallace husband of Karen Wallace of Buffalo, NY. There will be a small family burial at the Evergreen Cemetery in Annville, PA on Monday June 20^th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org.
