Edith Jeannette Xander October 3, 1925 - September 16, 2016

Edith Jeannette Xander, 90, of Allentown, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016. She was the wife of the late Carlton H. Xander. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. and Edith (Conway) Bradley.  She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown, where she was previously president of Prime Time and a member of the Women of St. Francis. She was also a member of WRAP, and was active at the Lehigh Valley Active Life Center, where she enjoyed ceramics and being a member of the Red Hat Society.  Survivors: Daughters: Debra Roulston and Bonnie Gilbert (preceded in death); Son-in-law: Eugene Gilbert; Grandchildren: Greg, Kevin (and wife, Kim), Ryan, and Becky Gilbert, Jonathan (and wife, Heather) and Shannon Roulston; Great-grandsons: Gregory Gilbert and Carter Roulston; Great-great-granddaughter: Karli Gilbert.  Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi, 801 N. 11^th St. Allentown. Call Hours (in church): 8:30 AM until Mass. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Allentown. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
