Esther A. Stahl September 23, 1921 - September 24, 2017

Esther A. Stahl, 96, a resident of The Leland of Laurel Run, Waynesboro, formerly of Allentown, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Ministries, Emmitsburg, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Herbert W. Stahl, Jr. Esther was born in East Texas, PA a daughter of the late William and Susanna (Spitko) Nagle.  She was employed in the Medical Billing Department of Allen Neurosurgical, Allentown for many years before retiring in 1986. She was a member of Emmanuel U.C.C., Allentown. Esther was also a member of the former Salem U.C.C., Allentown.  She was an active volunteer with the Allentown Ecumenical Food Bank, where she served as the corresponding secretary for many years.  Esther played the piano at B’Nai B’rith.

Survivors: Son: William H. Stahl and his wife Mary C. of Blue Ridge Summit, PA; Daughter: Elaine Marie Mordosky of West Chester, PA; Brother: Paul A. Nagle and his wife Helen of Vero Beach, FL; Grandchildren: John W. Mordosky, Catherine V. Stahl, and Michael W. Stahl; Great-Grandchildren: Tyler and Erin.

Services: 10:30 am Wednesday in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown.  Call 9:30 – 10:30 am Wednesday in the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown. www.stephensfuneral.com.
