Janet M. Muschlitz May 6, 1934 - October 15, 2016

Janet M. Muschlitz, of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home.  She and her husband, Robert A. Muschlitz, celebrated their 58^th anniversary.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Marion E. (Brinker) Ogier.  A 1952 graduate of William Allen High School, she was employed as a secretary at GAC.  Janet was a member of Christ Lutheran Church since 2001; previously, she was a member of the former Bethany E. C. Church.  As a violinist, she played in the Lehigh County Pops Orchestra, the Allentown String Ensemble, the Bethany E. C. Sunday School Orchestra, the Lehigh Valley All Girl Orchestra, and at the Allentown Senior Citizens Center.  Survivors: husband; son, Brett A., Allentown; brother, Dr. James M. Ogier and wife, Susan E., Salem VA; cousin, Frederick Ogier, Tucson AZ.  She was preceded in death by three children.  Services: 11 AM Wednesday in church, 1245 W. Hamilton St.  Call 10 AM until service time.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC.  Contributions: in lieu of flowers, to church 18102 or WJCS PO Box 8900 Allentown 18105-8900.
