John R. D. Barker, Jr.

John R. D. Barker, Jr., 86, of Allentown, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 in Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John R. D. Barker, Sr. and Sara J. (Geddes) Barker. John was a self-employed Realtor and Appraiser in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. John was a member of Zion UCC, Allentown, where he sang on the choir. He also sang with Saengerbund and The Bach Choir. John was a 32^nd degree Mason, was a member of Jordan-Martin Lodge #673 F. & A. M. and was a Past Master. He was also a Shriner. John was an avid sponsor of the NRA.

Survivors: John is survived by sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
