Lois R. Rivers March 14, 1930 - May 22, 2016

Lois R. Rivers, 86, of Country Meadows, Allentown, formerly of Warminster, PA died Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving children.

Born March 14, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick F. and Florence M. Kurz (Schumacher). She married her handsome sailor, the late Ivan Randolph Rivers (Randy) on January 23, 1952 and together they had three children. Lois was a dedicated lifelong employee with Bell Telephone before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Southampton, PA. While Lois loved traveling, playing cards and games, and making others feel special, her greatest joy was her family. She devoted her life to loving and treasuring each one, enjoying the many phone calls and all the times they spent together.

Lois will be lovingly remembered by her family. Survivors include her sons Richard F. (Jan) Rivers of Castle Rock, CO and Steve J. (Lisa S.) Rivers of Macungie, daughter Lynn R.  (Thomas A.) Parker of Madison, WI; grandchildren Jaime (Eric), Lauren (Chris), Andrea (Kevin), Sarah (Grant), Dan (Kelly), Kris and Eric; and Great-grandchildren Nate, Elle, Luke, Emily and Julianne.
