Norman E. Boyer June 20, 1922 - October 11, 2017

Norman E. Boyer, 95, of Alburtis and formerly of Brookview Apts., passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in the home of his son, Richard N. Boyer. Norman was the husband of the late Elizabeth M. (Keeney) Boyer and Joyce (Koch) Boyer. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl N. and Emily M. (Knecht) Boyer. Norman was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a welder for Mack Trucks for 45 years before retiring in 1986. After retiring, Norman worked at McNabb’s Service Station and Dorney Park. He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC, Trexlertown. Mr. Boyer was a life member of Wescosville Fire Co. and Egypt VFW Post #7293. He was also a member of Topton American Legion Post #217. He was a former member of Trexlertown Rural Sportsman Assoc., Ranger Lake Rod & Gun Club and Grouse Hall Rod & Gun Club. Norman was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors: Sons: Richard N. and his wife Julie of Alburtis, John M. and his wife Tammy of Cetronia; Daughter: JoAnne E. Miller and her husband Terry of Leather Corner Post; Brothers: Charles of Guthsville, Wilfred and his wife Nancy of Sellersville; Grandchildren: 8; Great-grandchildren: 20. Norman was predeceased by a son Gary C., a sister Ellen Berger and companion Margie Galloway.

Services: 10 am Saturday, October 21, 2017, St. Paul’s UCC, 1249 Trexlertown Rd., Trexlertown 18087. Call 9 – 10 am Saturday (10/21/17) in the church. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.
