Rodney L. Williams March 11, 1947 - May 6, 2016

Rodney L. Williams, 69, of Milford Township, formerly of Upper Saucon Township died May 6, 2016 in LVHN, surrounded by his loving family, after an 18 month battle with ALS. He was the husband of Naomi (Haines) Williams. Born March 11, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Eugene Jackson Williams and Ethel Loraine (Lewis) Helfrich. Rodney graduated from Emmaus High School and Bethlehem Business School. He worked for Air Products and Chemicals from 1967 to 2000. After leaving APCI, he worked as a Home and Radon Inspector for Alined Services for 10 years. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Coopersburg. He enjoyed tennis, driving his sports car, racing, and traveling, but most of all he enjoyed spending precious time with his family.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 48 years; Son: Daniel Paul (Mariah) Williams of Charlotte, NC; Daughter: Susan Ann (Joel) Evans of Milford Township.

Services: A Celebration of Rod’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. www.stephensfuneral.com.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Rd, Ste. 260, Ambler, PA 19002 in Rod’s name to help fund research for this devastating disease.
