Sandra H. Lakanal March 16, 1933 - July 31, 2016

Sandra H. Lakanal, 83, of Allentown, passed away, Sunday, July 31, 2016 in the Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. She was the wife of James O. Lakanal who passed away September 4, 2015. Sandra was born in Easton a daughter of the late Eva (Moser) Snyder and step-daughter of Clifford Snyder.  She was an admitting clerk for the former Allentown Hospital before retiring in 1972. Sandra enjoyed visiting Cape May and most importantly spending time with her family.

Survivors: Son; James W. husband of Cynthia Lakanal of Allentown; daughter, Deborah A. wife of Joel Diefenderfer of Emmaus; sister, Linda L. Ferraro of Allentown; grandchildren, William, Lora Lakanal and her Fiancé DJ McAuley, Eric Diefenderfer and his wife Sara and Jon Diefenderfer; great-grandson, Carson.
