Thelma C. Westrick August 4, 1921 - August 14, 2016

Thelma C. Westrick, 95, formerly of Allentown, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, Bonita Springs, FL. She was the wife of the late Stephen S. Westrick. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Caroline P.H. Clauss. Thelma attended Cedar Crest College and worked for many years in the medical field; she was a medical secretary for Allen Neurosurgical Assoc. for 22 years before retiring. She was a member of Church of the Cross in Ft. Myers, FL where she enjoyed singing in the choir; she was also a member of the former Grace E.C. Church in Allentown and was a choir member there for many years. Thelma was a volunteer with the Allentown Rescue Mission, Salvation Army and the Parkland Community Library.

Survivors: Daughter, Wendy J. Funk and her husband James B. of Castle Rock, CO; grandsons, Jared J. and Jordan J.; brother, Harold W. Clauss and his wife Carole of Stratford, CT; nieces, Susan Koch of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Dr. Caroline Clauss-Ehlers of New York, NY. Three stepdaughters, two stepsons and many stepgrandchildren and stepgreatgrandchildren.
