Marie J. Young April 12, 1932 - September 6, 2021

Marie J. Young, 89, of Allentown, peacefully passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek, Northampton surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Kenneth D. Young. Marie was born in Rochester and daughter of the late Blaze and Anna (Zapsic) Glovak. She was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown where she participated in the choir and the Ladies Auxiliary.

A devoted wife and mother, Marie unerringly created a home full of love, laughter and music where she nurtured her beloved family, friends, and cherished pets. She was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed gardening, long walks, country drives and caring for wild birds. Marie touched the heart of everyone she met with her radiant smile, kindness, grace and elegance; she will be greatly missed yet never forgotten.

Survivors: Daughter, Cynthia R. Young; Son, Christopher L. Young; 2 Grandchildren.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 29, at 11AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020 to celebrate the life of Marie. There will be a calling hour from 10-11AM in the church. Interment will be private at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
