Michael W. Selinsky September 25, 1933 - March 5, 2023

Michael W. “Mikey” Selinsky, 89, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Twp. He and his wife, Barbara H. (Filtcroft), celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary. Born September 25, 1933, in Giardville, he was a son of the late Michael and Eleanor (Rakowsky) Selinsky. He was a 1951 graduate of Giardville High School where his class wrote in their yearbook, “Mike is quick, witty and brim full of fun; that’s why he’s liked by everyone.” Michael continued to live his whole life in this way. An Army veteran, he earned the rank of Private First Class. After serving in the Army, he was employed at Fuller Company as a sales engineer for 46 years and found himself traveling the world before retiring in 2008. An avid organ player, he loved polka music and making people laugh and smile. Survivors: wife; daughters, Carol Unfried and husband, Cliff, Tracy Rambo; grandchildren, Tonya and Shane Ritter, Larry Shrew; great granddaughter, Emersyn Heydt; nieces; nephews. Michael was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah, brothers, James, Louie and Jackie, and sister, Dolores Schreffler. Services: 2:30 PM Saturday at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd.
