Thomas R. Lawall May 14, 1933 - March 22, 2023

Thomas R. Lawall, age 89, of Macungie, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2023. Thomas enlisted in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. Thomas was an alumnus of Muhlenberg College. He majored in physics and was employed by the Fuller Company/F.L. Smidth for 38 years as an engineer. During his tenure, he obtained multiple domestic and international patents. He was a sixty-year member of the Catasauqua Blue Lodge #284, among many other Masonic organizations within the York Rite and Scottish Rite where he obtained the honorable 33rd degree. Thomas was an active member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Emmaus, had a passion for astronomy, wood working, and was an avid reader.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Sue W., children Rebecca Frey (Michael), Leanne Lawall, Daniel Lawall, grandson Walker Haines, and brother Peter.

A celebration of Thomas’s life will be held on Friday, June 16th in the Faith Presbyterian Church 3002 North 2nd Street, Emmaus. A masonic service will begin at 11:00 A.M. followed a funeral service and a reception. Arrangements by Stephens Funeral Home, Inc.
