Andrea J. “Annie” Reppert January 13, 1963 - September 14, 2020

Andrea J. “Annie” Reppert, 57, of Macungie, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 in her home. She was the spouse of Lisa A. Reppert and they would have celebrated over 20 years together next month. Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Frances M. (Musgrove) Greason. Annie received her B.A. in Business from Muhlenberg College. She built her career with Kraft Foods over 27 years, joining as an Administrative Assistant and serving as Manager of Service Improvement prior to retiring in 2013.

Annie loved her family and friends fiercely, along with Alabama Crimson Tide football.  Her passion and fervor for Alabama football only grew throughout her life, especially during her 10-year battle with lung cancer and metastasis to her brain. She held her stuffed elephant mascot “Al” which played Alabama’s fight song and played it every single touchdown and every single field goal of every single game.

Annie loved to help rescue cats and dogs and this led to countless successful adoptions, including many into her own home over the years.   Anyone who visited recently can tell you four such rescue cats were always “on guard” close by.

Annie was an avid golfer and was always up for a round as long as it didn’t conflict with an Alabama football game. When golf was no longer possible, Annie simply adapted to what was still possible, which was miniature golf. She loved this and as a result it became a favorite family competition on Sunday afternoons. Annie’s competitive spirit never waned throughout her illness, and she relentlessly teased anyone who beat her score.

Similar to golf, Annie “rolled” with her limitations as she fought cancer. Annie demanded to play her favorite card game or Yahtzee at every family gathering and even as recently as early summer had everyone in stitches laughing at her famous “the look” whenever someone’s move was not in her favor.

Annie’s non-competitive hobbies included going out to the movies and singing along to her favorite music hits from the 80’s and favorite country artists, which became her lifeline over the past decade.  DVDs replaced movie theaters and belting out hits in the car with friends replaced live concerts, but Annie never looked back.
