Andrew’s love for building extended beyond blueprints; He enjoyed repurposing skis alongside his father, crafting innovative designs and functional pieces. He was dedicated to his profession of Architecture, giving back through being an EMT, and sharing his passion for snow sports by teaching others.

In addition to his wife, daughter, and parents, Andrew is survived by his brother Matthew Mitchell, stepsister Tina Diglio, paternal grandparents David and Rosemary Mitchell, in-laws Lawrence and Nancy Sheckler, godmother Patricia Vanegas, and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored him. He was predeceased by his stepbrother, Everett Diglio Jr., and maternal grandparents, Virgil and Phyllis Bishop.
