Anita L. Dickert September 27, 1951 - July 17, 2021

Anita L. Dickert, 69, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of John W. Dickert. They celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary last October. Anita was born in Allentown a daughter of the late Socrates A. and Norma J. (Fenstermaker) Lakis. She was a graduate of Dieruff High School Class of 1969. Anita retired from Continental Automotive as a customer service representative in 2016.  She was an active member of Nativity Lutheran Church where she served on the Alter Care Committee and was the co-chairperson of the Fellowship Committee.  Anita was happiest when surrounded by friends and family and devoted her life to the service of others.

Survivors: Husband; daughters, Lauren E. and her husband R. Peter Kiefer of Allentown and Stephanie M. and her husband Lt. Col. Joshua N. Hall of Henderson, NV; brother, Michael A. and his wife Brenda Lakis of Allentown; sisters, Diana M. Lakis-Altman and her husband Joseph Altman of New York City and Cleo E. and her husband Barry Weaver of Newport Richie, FL; her fur baby Bailey; she was Yaya to her grandchildren, Simon, Jack, Madeline, Samuel and Lucilia.

Services:  10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 22, 2021, in the Nativity Lutheran Church 4004 Tilghman Street, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. in the church.
