Anna (DiBonifazio) Breshock August 29, 1932 - April 7, 2025

Anna (DiBonifazio) Breshock, 92 of Macungie passed away peacefully on Monday, April 7, 2025 at LVHN’s Inpatient Hospice Unit with loving family by her side.
Anna was the beloved wife of John Breshock. They celebrated 56 wonderful years of marriage together prior to his passing in 2018. We are comforted to know they are reunited again. Their marriage and life was exemplary for all.
Born on August 29, 1932 in Hazleton, PA , Anna was the daughter of the late Mariano & Mary (Pastorella) DiBonifazio. She graduated from Hazleton High School in 1950. She & John moved to Macungie in 1965 and lived in their family home for 60 years. She worked at Josh Early Candies for 30 years until her retirement in 1998.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love. She was devoted to her faith, family, and friends. She loved doing things for others and looking out for their well-being. Anna enjoyed over 15 years as a volunteer for Country Meadows Retirement Community, Allentown until becoming a proud resident herself. It brought her much joy and purposeful service.
Anna & John were amongst the founding parishioners of St Thomas More church and fondly remember putting the desks together when it was time to open the new school in 1969.
Anna made sure to keep family traditions alive. Her favorites being homemade Easter pie, zucchini bread and her “famous” Chex mix. She loved sharing Christmas Eve dinner with family and friends and would prepare all of the 7 fishes. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. Church first, followed by time with family and friends, playing cards, and family dinners on Sunday a must.
Her grandchildren Cameron & McKenzie were the center of her world. Always the cheerleader from the sidelines or her kitchen table giving advice. She loved to watch her beloved Phillies with them and ANY other sports team they liked. She’d often ask, did “our” team win. She was a constant source of love, encouragement and strength. She led by example and always knew the right words to share during difficult times.
Survivors: daughter Martie and her husband Christopher Haller of Macungie; grandchildren Cameron & McKenzie. Devoted sister Marion Zabitchuck, Allentown (formerly of Hazleton). A host of nieces, nephews and greats who continuously checked in on her. She delighted in the many phone calls, FaceTime and cards. She was predeceased by parents, husband and siblings: Nancy Super, Rosella Kuba, and Louis DiBonifazio.
A heartfelt thank you to LVHN’s OACIS Palliative Medicine and Inpatient Hospice Unit-17th & Chew for their outstanding love, care and concern.
