Anthony F. “Tony” Altieri October 31, 1929 - June 25, 2024

Anthony F. “Tony” Altieri, 94, of Allentown passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, unexpectedly in the St. Luke’s Hospital-Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Carole M. (Arnold) Altieri. They celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary last December. Tony was born in South Renovo, PA, a son of the late Frank L. and Virginia C. (Bruno) Altieri. He was employed as an electrician/motor inspector for Bethlehem Steel for 42 years before retiring in1992. Tony was a veteran U.S. Air Force serving during World War II. He enjoyed playing billiards, his guitar and watching the Phillies and western movies with his wife. Tony was a member of American Legion, Sumner Avenue.

Survivors: Wife; brother, Louis M. Altieri of Allentown; grandchildren, Tony and Keri; great-granddaughter Kaitlyn Altieri; stepdaughters, Gina M. Chiocco, Gail M. Thomson, Cathy A. Bankowski and their families; his beloved dog Bella and his cat Buddy. He was pre-deceased by his son Frank Altieri and stepdaughters Christina C. and Tracey Lynn Fogel.

Services: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 2nd in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. www.stephensfuneral.com.
