Barbara A. Swoyer April 15, 1942 - June 16, 2023

Barbara A. Swoyer, 81, of Allentown, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of the late Carl H. Swoyer, Sr. Born in Fullerton, one of twelve children, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Katie (Kunkle) Kromer and was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church where she attended regularly. Prior to retiring, she was employed at Wendy’s and, previously, until its closing, at George Washington Motor Lodge, both in Whitehall. Barbara was an avid Bingo player. Survivors: daughters, Mary A. Davis, Allentown, Elizabeth A., Riverside, Carol A. Mayers and husband, David M., Allentown; son, Carl, Jr. and significant other, Cathi L. Murphy, Allentown; grandchildren, Edward, Fransis and husband, Chris, Nicole, Kyle and wife, Johanna, Andrew, David; great grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Alyssa, Sophia, Johnathan; sister, Linda Woting; brother, Jerry; nieces; nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by grandchildren, Kelly and Carl. Services: 10 AM Friday in church, 417 N. Seventh St. Visitation will be from 9 AM until service time.
