Betty (Roberts) Diehl April 20, 1927 - September 8, 2018

Betty Diehl, 91, formerly of Allentown, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 in Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill Annex. She was the wife of the late Franklin R. Diehl. Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Williams) Roberts. Betty was a graduate of Slatington H.S. She was an employee for 45 years of Hess’s Department Store and retired as a bookkeeper in 1990. She was a member of the former Wellspring Community Church, Allentown.

Survivors: Sister: Faye Hoanzl of Whitehall. Betty is also survived by step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Fred Roberts and by sisters Catherine Rabuck, Nancy Rehrig, Muriel Hughes and by a step-daughter Ellen Diehl.
