Beulah Gibbs January 19, 1933 - August 31, 2023

Beulah Gibbs, 90, of Whitehall, PA, formerly of Chester, PA and Fayetteville, NC, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023, in her home. She was the wife of the late Sanford B. Gibbs, Sr. Born in Statesboro, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late John A. and Leonia (Newkirk) Riggs. Beulah was a graduate of Chester High School. Beulah was a devout Christian and was a former member of Covenant Love Church in Fayetteville, NC. She was a member of the Knitting Sisters and a Bible Study Group. Beulah was well-known for her cooking, especially her oatmeal raisin cookies.

Survivors: Children: Barbara Anne Kremp and her husband Michael F. Kremp, of Whitehall, Diane E. Gibbs of Darby, PA, Dorothy G. Gibbs of Fayetteville, NC, Sanford B. Gibbs, Jr. and his wife Florence of Cameron, NC, John A. Gibbs and his wife Tiffany of Allentown, PA; Beulah is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters Sandra A. Jackson and Lisa L. Turner and by siblings Dorothy M. Fisher, Fred Riggs and Floyd Riggs.

Services: 11 am Friday, September 8, 2023, Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown, PA 18106. There will be a visitation on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 10 – 11 am in the funeral home. www.stephensfuneral.com  Interment will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC.
