Bruce W. DeLong, Jr. July 23, 1967 - January 10, 2026

Bruce W. DeLong, Jr., 58, of Bethlehem, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Princeton, New Jersey on July 23, 1967, Bruce was the son of Bruce W. DeLong, Sr. and Florence A. “Dolly” (Marquardt) DeLong of Allentown. Growing up in Allentown, Bruce attended Allen High School and was a member of St John’s UCC Allentown. He started his long & successful career in the food service industry as a teenager working at Dorney Park before eventually working his way to general manager of many Applebee’s in the region. He most recently worked in various client support roles, including at Guardian Life Insurance in Bethlehem.

There were always two things Bruce prided himself on and could talk to anyone about: his family, including his two sons, and Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles. He also loved the many family get-togethers, whether a picnic in the backyard or games around his parent’s table, and nice glass of bourbon shared with friends & family.

Bruce is survived by many loving family members. In addition to his parents, Bruce is survived by his children Tyler, wife Erin and son Henry, and Zachary; as well as his siblings Douglas, wife Annette of Hereford, and Janet Newett, husband Anthony of Allentown; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and finally, his partner Robin “Nikki” Daye of Bethlehem.
