Carolyn H. Dalton June 14, 1946 - January 6, 2025
Carolyn H. Dalton, 78, formerly of Macungie, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 6, 2025. She was a devoted wife of the late Dr. Augustine I. Dalton, Jr. Born in Richmond, VA, Carolyn was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Camden) Harris. She was a graduate of Manchester High School where she was a member of her community outreach sorority. An avid lover of numbers, Carolyn made her career as a bookkeeper for Mutual Insurance Company of Lehigh County before retiring in 1997. With a deep passion for serving the Lord and sharing His truth, Carolyn was an active member of First Baptist Church of Allentown, where she sang in the choir, spearheaded annual drives to send care packages to soldiers serving overseas, coordinated Sunday School events, and was a Nursery Department assistant. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with her family – especially her 7 grandchildren, creating beautiful stained glass, traveling the world with her late husband and border collie, and gardening.
