Catherine A. May January 2, 1954 - February 2, 2024

Catherine A. May, 70, of Salisbury Twp., passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Health Network. She was the wife of the late Thomas B. May. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Schrope) and William Reed. A 1971 graduate of William Allen High School and 1975 graduate of Mansfield University, she was a fifth and sixth grade teacher at Catasauqua Middle School for 33 years before retiring in 2011. A social member of Fearless and Salisbury fire companies, she loved to travel to the Caribbean and her favorite times were with family, especially for holidays and vacations.

Survivors: brother, Edward T. and wife, Barbara, Baldwinsville NY; many nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30 AM Friday at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown. Call 9:30 AM until service. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. (www.stephensfuneral.com)
