Charles E. F. Bickel May 3, 1936 - July 25, 2022

Charles E. F. “Charlie” Bickel, 86, of Macungie, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Twp. He was the husband of the late Analdine “Dena” (DeMarco). Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Katharine A. (Flood) Bickel. A lifelong truck driver, he was employed for various companies throughout the Lehigh Valley, last working for PCA, Trexlertown. Charles was a founding member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown, a member of the Macungie VFW, and a former member of The Old Time Plow Boys Club as well as The Antique Engine, Tractor and Toy Club. Survivors: Daughter, Karen Bower and husband, Scott, Allentown; Sons, Charles Jr., Allentown, Michael and wife, Lisa, Shoemakersville, Brian and companion, Tanya Neidlinger, Mohrsville; Sister, Bernadette Kemmerer, FL; Grandchildren, DJ, Mike Jr., Lee, Damian, Olivia; Great Grandchildren, Bennett, Emilia, Elliana. Services: Calling 1:00 – 3:00 PM Sunday at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC., 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown.  Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 AM Monday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave. Allentown. Calling 10:30 AM until Mass. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
