Charles E. Martinelli May 12, 1938 - June 25, 2024

Charles E. Martinelli, 86, formerly of Pembroke Pines, FL passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024, in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. He was born in Queens, NY, a son of the late Charles B. and Lillian (Knoth) Martinelli and a stepson of Dorothy Martinelli. Charles resided in Florida for over 40 years where he was employed in the “Money Room” of the Greyhound Racetrack before retiring. Prior to moving to Florida, he was employed in the banking industry in New York. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve. Charles was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers, Miami Dolphins and Toronto Blue Jays fan. He was the Bingo caller at his condominium complex in Florida and was willing to go the extra mile for all of his neighbors. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors: Brother, Edward A. Martinelli, Sr. and his wife Teresa of Loxley, AL; sister, Marlene M. Kotsch of Allentown; Charles is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles was pre-deceased by his brother Daniel T. Martinelli, brother-in-law H. Michael Kotsch and sister-in-law Bonnie Martinelli.
Services: 8:30 P.M. Tuesday, July 2nd in the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 7:00 – 8:30 P.M. on Tuesday at Stephens Funeral Home.
Additional services will be held at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, 6031 Taft Street, Hollywood, Florida. Funeral Service will be at 10 A.M. on Monday, July 8, 2024, with a visitation from 9 – 10 A.M. at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Hollywood Memorial Gardens, Hollywood, FL.
