Charles H. Richards, Jr. April 13, 1965 - June 28, 2025

Charles H. Richards, Jr., 60, of Wescosville, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Abington, Montgomery County, April 13, 1965, Charles was the son of the late Charles H. Richards Sr. and Lenore (Banks) Richards Simons. He received his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, Class of 1989. Charles was a civil engineer for PennDOT since 1990. He was a former member of Davisville Church, Southampton and attended Faith Church, Trexlertown. Charles was a devoted father and grandfather who faithfully lived out his spiritual gift of service, often blessing his family and many others. He knew Jesus deeply, was a man of prayer, eagerly shared his faith, and loved discussing Scripture. His quiet, steady presence was a ministry in itself, blessing all who knew him. He was steadfastly loyal and loved others deeply.
Survivors: Daughters, Stephanie M. Walters and her husband, Benjamin of Allentown, Jenna E. Aiken and her husband, Matthew of Macungie; Tori A. Richards, Alana J. Richards, Ella N. Richards all at home; sisters, Karen R. Tomlin and her husband, Thomas of Philadelphia, Kathy R. Leaver of Doylestown, Jayne R. Warner of Hatboro, Judi R. Robinson and her husband Charlie of Sabetha KS; grandchildren, Jameson William, Sullivan Charles, Declan Deforrest, Rowan Florence Walters and Hudson Charles Matthew Aiken; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Service: A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Faith Church, 6528 Hamilton Blvd Allentown. Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
