Curtis C. “Charlie” Fickert January 31, 1943 - April 12, 2025

Curtis C. “Charlie” Fickert, 82, of Allentown passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at his daughter’s residence in Chalfont, PA.  Born in Allentown in 1943, he was the son of the late Curtis C. and Emma Jane (Fricke) Fickert.  He was the loving husband to the late Sandra Fickert with whom he shared 58 years of marriage before her passing in 2023.  Charlie worked for many years as a draftsman for the Fuller Co., Catasauqua, PA and F.L. Schmidt, Bethlehem, PA, before his retirement in 2005.  After his retirement, he could be found working for Newhard’s Corn Shed Schnecksville, PA.

In his spare time, Charlie was a board member of the Boy Scout of America Troop #105 and a member of the Lehigh Valley Oldtimers.  He also enjoyed woodworking and collecting arrowheads.  He was a member of Grace Community Church, New Tripoli, and a former of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown, PA.

He is survived by his children, Curtis C. Fickert III (Debra) of Gilbertsville, and Tara Lyn Conley (John) of Chalfont, grandchildren Curtis Chase Fickert and Caleb, Joshua, and Logan Conley.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd., Allentown, PA 18106, from 10:00-11:00 AM.  Burials will be held privately.
