Dale B. Berkheimer January 4, 1932 - December 11, 2025

Dale Beecher Berkheimer, 93, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, in Allentown PA. He was born in York PA on January 4, 1932, the only child of the late Clarence and Esther Berkheimer. He was predeceased in 2016 by his loving wife of over 60 years, Polly Jane Berkheimer. Dale was a business degree graduate of Elizabethtown College. He proudly served in the US Army “guarding the gold” at Fort Knox KY prior to beginning his lifetime career at New Holland Farm Machinery Company. While at New Holland, he held various leadership positions in Market Research as well as Communications and Promotions.

After retirement, Dale and Polly spent over 20 years in Ocean Isle Beach NC which also became a welcomed vacation spot for family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, reading and card playing. He was an accomplished bridge player, achieving the levels of Life Master (1991) and Silver Life Master (2011).

Surviving are two sons, Michael Berkheimer (Catherine), residing in Pennsylvania, and David, residing in North Carolina, five grandchildren, Andrew Berkheimer, Laura Allen, Jenna Hanna, Mark Berkheimer, and Emily Byrne, and seven great grandchildren.

Dale was born and baptized in the Lutheran faith and served in many volunteer capacities at Lutheran churches in Lancaster PA and Ocean Isle Beach. Inurnment will be held at a time convenient for the family during 2026. Dale’s remains will be placed to rest in the church columbarium at Saint Luke Lutheran Church in Ocean Isle Beach.
