Daniel N. Fahringer August 25, 1956 - October 25, 2025

Daniel N. Fahringer, 69, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Susan D. (Haines) Fahringer. They celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in September 2025. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Norman and Alice M. (Dunton) Fahringer. Daniel was a graduate of Whitehall High School, class of 1974. He started working as an oil burner technician, then was a home oil delivery driver and service technician and became vice-president of The Oil Man, Inc. for over 20 years. Daniel served as president of the Better Home Heat Council for several years. After retiring from The Oil Man, Daniel was a dump truck operator. He served the Woodlawn Fire Company for 20 years and was appointed chief engineer. Daniel also served as president of the Woodlawn Social Club for 10 years. He bowled in the United Church League from 1996-2017. Daniel enjoyed camping, fishing, grilling and bar-b-queuing.

Survivors: Wife, Susan; Son: Todd E. Fahringer of South Whitehall Township Step-son: Michael J. Haines of South Whitehall Twp.; Brother: Barry E. Fahringer and his wife Patricia of Whitehall. Daniel is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved dogs, Holly and Lacey. He was predeceased by his niece Tara Fenstermaker.
