David L. Strohecker December 19, 1941 - November 30, 2022

David L. Strohecker, 80, of Zionsville, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on November 30, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by Cherolyn Strohecker, married 52 years, and Nancy Carls Strohecker, married four years. A 1960 graduate of Allentown High School, he joined the Army and served in the 82nd Airborne. Dave retired from Bethlehem Steel/Beth Forge. He will be remembered for his strong faith, service as an adult Sunday school teacher for 42 years at Boulevard/Christ EC Church and love for sharing God’s word. His favorite pastime was traveling with Nancy and spending time with his family and friends gathered for picnics around his pool. Survivors: son, John G. and wife, Jackie; daughters, Trudi L. Coffman and husband, Brian, Tami S. Robinson and husband, Glenn; grandchildren, Jaimie Strohecker, Christopher and Austin Evans, Daniel and Deanna Jackson; great grandchildren, Casimir (and very soon to be born) Nash Evans; stepchildren, Karen Berard, Kathy L. Canfield, LCDR John W. Carls, Ph.D., and James W. Carls. Services: 11 AM Friday at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown. Call 10 AM until service time. Interment will be in Bethany EC Church Cemetery, Barto.
