Dolores S. Armbruster February 19, 1960 - November 21, 2025

Dolores S. Armbruster, 65, of Allentown, passed away Friday, November 21, 2025, in the L.V. Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Michael R. Armbruster. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary in May 2025. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late John and Cecilia (Derendal) Yenchick. Dolores was a graduate of the Allentown School of Nursing and was a registered nurse for 43 years. She worked for Sacred Heart Hospital and then retired from St. Luke’s Hospital. Dolores enjoyed going to lunch with her nurse friends. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Orefield. Dolores loved going to the beach, especially Hilton Head Island and vacationing with her grandchildren.

Survivors: Husband, Mike; Son: Eric M. Armbruster and his wife Krista L. of Gilbertsville and their children, Penelope, Samson, Veronica; Step-son: Michael R. Armbruster, Jr. and his wife Amber of Tampa, FL and their children, Colby, Caleb; Sister: Eleanor Racho and her husband Gerald of Sugarloaf, PA. Dolores was predeceased by her brother John Yenchick, Jr. and by her sister Cecilia Youngcourt.

Services: A Mass will be held at 10:30 am Monday, December 1, 2025, at St. Joseph Church, 1879 Applewood Dr., Orefield 18069. There will be a visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 am Monday, (12/1/25) at the church. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmanstephens.com.
