Donald A. Lobach June 4, 1941 - July 3, 2018

Donald A. “Don” Lobach, 77, of Whitehall, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, in Whitehall Manor. He and his wife, Anna Lee (Waypa), would have celebrated their 54th anniversary this year. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Albert G. and Emma E. (Rieger) Lobach. He was a 1959 graduate of Allentown High School. After graduation, he enlisted with the US Navy and became involved in the Cuban missile crisis aboard the USS Davis. He owned Don’s Doors and Windows, Allentown, for more than twenty years and was previously employed at Exide Battery, Allentown, for 20 years. Don enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, traveling, especially cruising, and spending time at Lake Wallenpaupack in the Pocono Mountains. Survivors: daughters, Dena C. Moore, Allentown, Lori M. Persa and husband, Jeffrey J., Schnecksville; grandchildren, Brandon A. Persa, Myrtle Beach SC, Ethan J. Persa, Schnecksville; great granddaughter, Cadence N. Persa, SC; brother, Charles F. and wife, Donna, Allentown; sisters, Lois M. Haines, S. Whitehall Twp., Anita L. Rathburn and husband, Gary, Tulsa OK; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister, Jean E. Services: A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC.
