Donald R. Roeder August 5, 1953 - September 5, 2023

Donald R. Roeder, 70, of Millsboro, DE, and formerly of Emmaus, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Teresa A. (Pospischil) Roeder for over 40 years. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Ray and Gloria (Wurster) Roeder. Donald was a graduate of Allen High School and began his career at Mack Trucks. He earned numerous certificates, became a “jack-of-all trades” and the union steward. Later, he worked over 15 years at the brewery in Fogelsville as a lead in the powerhouse before retiring from Samuel Adams. Donald enjoyed the fruits of his labor by moving to his Delaware cottage, soaking up the sun, being the captain of his pontoon, with his dog, Rosie, by his side and a smile on his face.

Survivors: Daughter: Jessica A. Henry of Alburtis; Son: Michael L. Roeder and his wife Julie of Schnecksville; Grandchildren: Zachary, Ava and Sawyer. Donald is also survived by his sister Carol and his brother Steve and his wife Marlen. Donald was predeceased by his Son-in-Law: Christopher Henry.
