Dorothy E. Steckel September 18, 1927 - January 7, 2022
Dorothy E. Steckel, 94, of Allentown, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Kermit S. Steckel. Born in Allentown, one of five children, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Emmaline (Logan) Oswald. She worked for the Allentown police department as a school crossing guard and Leibensperger Transportation as a bus driver for 22 years. Dorothy was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church. Survivors: son, Douglas K. and wife, Jamie M., Schnecksville; grandsons, Joshua P., Ryan E. Services: Private. Arrangements entrusted to STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to American Cancer Society.
