E. HENRY Roberts November 8, 1940 - August 28, 2018

Everett HENRY Roberts of Coopersburg died August 28, 2018. Henry was born in New Berlinville, PA on November 8, 1940 to the late James and Leila (Johnson) Roberts.

Henry was the beloved husband of Susan Jean (DeMuth) Roberts. Henry and Susan were married on May 25, 1968, and they happily celebrated their 50th anniversary this spring. Henry and Sue were blessed with two children, James Henry and Jill Alayne.

Henry graduated from Boyertown High School in 1958 and trained as a plumber. He was drafted into the Army in 1963 and served in Panama until his honorable discharge in 1965. After his military service Henry worked as a plumber for Linwood Bauman and Air Products, finally retiring from Cobham Electronic Solutions as a maintenance mechanic in 2011, after 24 years.

Henry was a very active member of Faith UCC, Center Valley.

After retirement Henry and Sue were fortunate to travel and cruise extensively.

Henry enjoyed fishing and summer trips to the shore and to the lake house at Keen Lake. He especially enjoyed introducing his children, nieces and nephews to the joys of fishing.

Henry is survived by his wife Susan and their daughter Jill (Travis Raeburn). He is also survived by his sisters Shirley Rauch, Mary Ellen Lord (Dave) and Arlene Miller (Bill). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law Carol Hare (Ed).

In addition to his parents, Henry was predeceased by his brother-in-law Ralph Rauch and his beloved son Jimmy (of leukemia in 1987).
