Edward Plessl May 22, 1926 - May 31, 2018

Edward Plessl, 92, of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospice In-Patient Unit. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Doppler) Plessl. Edward and his wife, Dolores M. (Jones) Plessl, would have celebrated 70 years of marriage on February 14, 2018. She predeceased him on January 31, 2018. He was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Edward Plessl honorably served his country as a radio operator in the Army Air Force during World War II. After the war, Edward worked at Western Electric/Lucent for 39 years. He designed storage trays for circuit chips.

Survivors: Son, Ted and wife, Maria, of Schnecksville; daughters, Terry Pearman and husband, Tim, of Allentown and Lori Sheetz and husband, Kevin, of Doylestown; grandchildren, Tanja (Plessl) and husband Hank Turchanik, Thomas Plessl; Kyle and wife Jenn Pearman; Ryan, Christian, and Kellie Sheetz; great-grandchild, Elianna Turchanik. Edward was preceded in death by three sisters, Theresa Diehl, Bertha Engleman, Helen Plessl and three brothers, Frank, Joseph, and Walter.
