Edward S. Donoghue, Jr. April 27, 1945 - March 31, 2026

Edward J. Donoghue, Jr., 80, of Forks Township, PA, formerly of Titusville, NJ, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Hecktown Oaks Campus. Born in Philadelphia, Ed was the son of the late Anna Bernadette (Murphy) Donoghue and Edward S. Donoghue, Sr. Ed received his PhD in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University. He worked as a Process Safety Engineer for several Agricultural Chemical Companies before retiring. Ed enjoyed sailing, biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing and bird watching. He also enjoyed traveling, especially visiting engineering sites and museums. Ed was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: Son Edward J. Donoghue and his wife Tara Littlejohn of Chandler, AZ; Partner: Leslie N. Pohl of Forks Township, PA; Former wife: Mary Ellen Galvin of Smithfield, RI.
