Edwin Rodriguez, Sr. September 18, 1960 - May 5, 2021

Edwin Rodriguez, Sr., 60, of Whitehall, passed away following a tragic accident on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.  He was the husband of Sandra I. (Luccioni) Rodriguez.  Edwin and Sandra have been together for 38 years and celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in September 2020.  Born in the Bronx, NY, he was a son of the late Manuel Rodriguez, Sr. and Juanita (Colon) Rodriguez.  Edwin was a retiree having worked as a foreman with the Cement and Concrete Workers Union, Local 18A in New York City for over 30 years.  He worked on many high-rise buildings including the reconstruction of the Freedom Tower.  He was a leader and always looked out for the welfare of his fellow union brothers.  He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Allentown, PA.  Edwin was an extraordinary man with a huge and generous heart, having helped many people throughout his life, even those he had just met.  He had a larger than life and unforgettable personality.  Edwin loved spending time with his family and walking his dog, Emma.  Survivors: Wife, Sandra; Sons: Raymond and Edwin, Jr.; Daughter: Cassandra I. Rodriguez; Brother: Manuel Rodriguez, Jr.; Sisters: Yolanda Fenstermaker, Judy Rodriguez and Angela Rodriguez; Grandchildren: Lourdes, Christopher, Isaiah, and Elizabeth Rodriguez; Great-Grandchild, Melody Cintron-Rodriguez.  Services: A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown 18106, from 4 – 9 pm.
