Eileen L. Welty April 20, 1946 - September 11, 2021

Eileen L. Welty, 75, of Palmerton, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021, in the St. Luke’s Hospital, Lehighton Campus.  She was the wife of the late Robert P. Welty. Eileen was born in Allentown a daughter of the late Floyd N. and Verna M. (Miller) Nothstein. She was employed as a factory worker for various garment manufactures in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring. Eileen was a member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ and the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Unions. She loved shopping, her cats and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors: Companion, Walter Bauer; daughters, Wendy E. Youells and her husband Robert B. of Bethlehem, Tammy L. Orendach and her companion Michael Trotta of Palmerton; grandchildren, Courtney, Emily, Sierra and Molly. She was predeceased by her brother Earlyn Nothstein.

Services: 10:30 A.M. Thursday in the Stephens Funeral Home, 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Call 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. www.stephensfuneral.com.
