Elaina C. Rishel February 7, 1944 - August 29, 2024

Elaina C. Rishel, 80, of Allentown, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital-Allentown. Born in Philadelphia in 1944, she was the daughter of the late Orazio and Amanda (Schott) Cammarota. She was the wife of David K. Rishel, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.

Elaina was a long-time and devoted member of Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, PA. Serving the church and serving Jesus was the center of Elaina’s life. In her spare time, she also enjoyed traveling with David. They both visited all 50 states and 85 countries.

In addition to her husband David, Elaina will be missed by her children, Edward F. Rishel and John D. Rishel (Kathleen), siblings, Fred Cammarota (Dorothy), Samuel Cammarota, and Tilly Hujsak (Richard), grandchildren Lillian F. Rishel and John W. Rishel (Jack).

A Calling Hour will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Stephens Funeral Home, 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown, PA 18106. Burial will take place privately at the family’s convenience.
