Elaine A. Seng November 21, 1930 - May 21, 2017

Elaine A. Seng, 86, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Dale A. Seng. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Warren C. and Perma H. (Hersh) Kiess. Elaine was a 1948 graduate of Allentown H.S., then worked as a secretary at the former Charis Corporation. She was a foster parent to more than 20 children. Mrs. Seng was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown, where she was a member of the Wednesday Morning Bible Study. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, music and was a member of various choirs throughout her life.

Survivors: Sons Jeffery D. and his fiancé Barbara Dilley of Palmerton, Donald J. and his wife Bonnie of Kutztown, Peter D. of Catasauqua; Foster Daughter: Ann Hollenbach of Texas; Grandchildren: 9; Great grandchildren: 9. Elaine was predeceased by her sister Mary A. Fister and her brother Warren H. Kiess.
