Ervin M. Ulshafer September 7, 1947 - February 1, 2019
Ervin M. Ulshafer, 71, of Whitehall, passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Erv’s “best catch” was his “Bertie” (Bertha R. Busocker); they were together for 12 years. Ervin was born in Coaldale a son of the late Ervin F. and Stella (Marlow) Ulshafer. He was a procurement agent for various manufacturers in the Lehigh Valley for many years before retiring in 2012. Erv enjoyed fly fishing and mentoring others through Project Healing Waters, Jake’s Youth Day, Women in the Outdoors and Casting for Recovery. He was a member of Trout Unlimited Hokendauqua Chapter #535. Ervin was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors: Bertha R. Busocker; daughter, Heather and her husband Shawn Kramer; grandsons, Ethan and Jaxon; brother, Eugene and his wife Karen Ulshafer; nephews, Jason, Brian and their children, Ethan, Lily, Montgomery and Hunter; niece, Tracey Catera and her children Abigail and Cassie.
