Francis A. Clarke August 15, 1940 - February 5, 2025

Francis A. Clarke, 84, of Wescosville, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in the home of his son and daughter-in-law. Francis and his wife, Frances R. (Welenc) Clarke would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in July 2025. Born in Pittston, he was a son of the late Francis J. and Dorothy (Nicholson) Clarke. Francis was the valedictorian of Hughestown High School, class of 1958, received his Associate Degree from Penn State and his Bachelor Degree from Lafayette College. Frank was an Electrical Engineer for Western Electric for over 35 years before retiring in 1998. After retiring, he was a member of the Western Electric Pioneers. He was a former acolyte at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Hughestown. Francis was also an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors: Wife, Frances; Daughter: Lisa A. Hemphill and her husband Patrick of Nazareth; Son: Richard A. Clarke and his wife Janine of Macungie; Grandchildren: Michael, Keri (Jake), Ali (Steven), Eric; Great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Daniel; Brother: Herbert Clarke and his wife Harriet of Hartford, CT. Francis was predeceased by his sister Judith Mulhern.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the future.
