Frederick E. Williams, Sr. December 18, 1939 - July 21, 2018

Frederick E. Williams, Sr., 78, of Breinigsville, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, in the VNA Hospice of St. Luke’s, L. Saucon Twp. He was the husband of the late Sandra (Weibel). Born in Montrose, Susquehanna County, he was a son of the late Ellis J. and Norma M. (Spaulding) Williams. He graduated from Allentown High School in 1957 and was a member of the reunion committee. Prior to retiring, Fred was employed at Penske Logistics, Reading, as a tractor trailer driver and previously at General Electric Co., Allentown, in its small appliance division. He was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Trexlertown, and through the years, he had been involved with various churches of the Episcopal Dioceses of Bethlehem and Newark NJ. He enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting his annual Fourth of July picnic at his home. He will be dearly missed by his very loving fiancée, Ruth E. Thomson, and all of his family and friends. Survivors: fiancée, Coplay; sons, Frederick, Jr. and wife, Sharon, Whitehall, Richard M. and wife, Bernice, Palmerton, Jammie L. and fiancée, Monique Jordan, Stroudsburg; daughters, LeeZa-An F. Ohl and husband, Brent, Allentown, Kimberlee A., Allentown; step-daughter, Dr. Christine Lynch-Caverly, Bethlehem; brother, Charles “Chuck”, Center Valley; sisters, Elizabeth “Bettie”, wife of the late Rev. William Roberts, Carmichaels, Sarah “Sally”, wife of the late Gerald Huff, Oak Harbor WA; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Louise, step-son, Brian K. Savelli, and sisters, Eleanor Lawrence and Charlotte Newton. Services: 10 AM Thursday in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 6667 L. Macungie Rd. Call 9 AM until service time at church or 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 274 N. Krocks Rd. Allentown.
